Mô tả công việc
The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the company's financial decision-making process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and work with external auditors to complete audits.
- Provide strategic analyses and recommendations to optimize financial performance and support business decisions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, forecasts, and budgets.
- Implement and oversee financial controls and systems to minimize risk.
- Train and mentor accounting staff to promote professional development.

Yêu cầu công việc
- We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Must have Chief Accountant Certification, additional certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Misa.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and superior analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and ideally Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS).
- Business proficiency in English.
