We are looking for a detail-oriented and seasoned Chief Accountant to manage financial operations. This role is perfect for someone looking for a hands-on with strong expertise, based in Vietnam.
Description
As a Chief Accountant, your role will be:
* Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely processing of vendor payments, customer receipts, and reconciliation of accounts.
* Overseeing accounting operations and financial procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
* Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and operational efficiency.
* Ensuring full compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
* Contributing to budget preparation and financial planning, supporting business growth and financial stability.

Profile
A successful Chief Accountant should have:
* Educational Background: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* MNC working experience: Working in an international environment
* Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations, ensuring compliance in financial reporting.
* AP/AR Analysis: Hands-on experience in managing and analyzing AP/AR to optimize cash flow and financial efficiency.
* Financial Strategy & Cost Management: Ability to implement cost-saving measures for a newly established business in Vietnam, supporting financial sustainability and growth.
* Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of local legal and tax requirements, particularly for new entities, ensuring seamless regulatory compliance.
* Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software and SAP systems to streamline financial operations.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong financial analysis capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
