Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial & Daily Operations
• Manage full-cycle accounting and financial operations
• Process and oversee contracts, AR/AP, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities,
treasury, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
• Review all purchase orders and vendors/suppliers' invoices for payments.
• Prepare payroll and process Social Insurance properly.
2. Financial Reporting
• Prepared accurate financial statements and management reports in coordination with external
accounting firms
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Report directly to the HQ in Korea and HN & HCM branches on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Managed direct reporting to the Korean HQ through weekly and monthly updates
• Prepare accounting reports for the Branch Director and local authorities.
3. Tax, Audit & Compliance
• Ensure all financial practices comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), local tax
regulations, and corporate policies.
• Prepare tax reports generated from accounting software and process yearly finalization reports
(VAT, PIT, CIT).
• Coordinate and complete annual audits and tax finalizations.
• Understand current and proposed legislation; enforce accounting regulations and recommend
new procedures.
• Ensure all new regulations on taxation, foreign investment, and labor laws are frequently
updated and strictly complied with.
4. Liaison Duties
• Act as the primary point of contact with local tax authorities, external auditors, banks, and other
relevant government bodies.
5. Cost Control & Team Management
• Monitor branch cash flow, operating expenses, and assist the Branch Manager with budgeting
and financial planning.
6. Team Management: Guide and supervise junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in
daily operations.
