1. JOB PURPOSE:
The Finance &
Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making of the company.
2. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Oversight: Manage all financial activities including inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Month-End and Year-End Closing: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation and reconciliation.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis with insight commentary and suggestion to support business decision-making, strategic planning, and growth.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Tax and legal Compliance: Maintain, develop, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and control to ensure compliance with regulatory, group policies requirements, and accuracy in financial reporting.
Process improvement: identify and continuously improvement to financial reporting, simplify processes with innovative automation related systems.
Maintain and enhance the organisation's financial control framework to ensure all accounting processes, financial reporting, and transactional activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, delegated authorities, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
Would it be preferrable the candidate has experience with Microsoft dynamics perhaps in addition to SAP?
Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to develop enhanced production and cost reporting, providing clear visibility over material usage, labour efficiency, overhead absorption, and variances to identify improvement opportunities and support initiatives to reduce unit production costs.
Advise executive management on ERP and HR system capability requirements to support the rapid scaling of manufacturing operations, ensuring systems, processes, and resourcing structures are fit‐for‐purpose as production volumes, headcount, and operational complexity increase.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the accounting staff, ensuring efficient operations and reliable financial data production.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, Professional certifications are advance.
- Chief Accountant Certificate is mandatory as per Vietnamese Accounting Law.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Accounting in Multi Culture Manufacturing industry, SAP or ERP experience is required.
- Good in English communication is a MUST.
- Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
- Able to motivate the team and lead by example.
- Good in Excel and MS office.
