Reporting directly to the Dean of HR, the Chief of HR is responsible for managing and coordinating assigned human resources functions, with a focus on Total Reward/Compensation & Benefits, HR policies, and compliance, in order to ensure a competitive rewards system, foster employee engagement, enhance transparency in HR management, optimize operational effectiveness, and maintain legal compliance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Total Reward
• Advise School Leadership on talent attraction and retention strategies through innovative Total Reward solutions.
• Forecast long-term personnel costs and recommend measures to optimize operating expenses.
• Develop and administer the total rewards framework, including grading/banding, job evaluation, and salary structure.
• Design and manage incentive, allowance, and benefits programs, including the incentive/bonus framework and benefits package, in alignment with the organization's strategy and budget.
• Execute and oversee payroll, statutory insurance, personal income tax, tax finalization, and related documentation for local and expatriate employees.
• Analyze and benchmark market data; participate in compensation and benefits surveys and recommend adjustments to enhance competitiveness and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate and implement periodic salary and bonus reviews, as well as retention and employee recognition programs.
• Lead and develop the capabilities of the HR team responsible for Compensation & Benefits and HR administration.
B. HR Policies, Processes and Compliance
• Review, develop, and update HR policies in line with operational needs and the organization's people management direction.
• Ensure and monitor compliance of HR policy implementation with Vietnamese labor law, social insurance regulations, personal income tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Advise and alert Management and relevant departments on matters related to compliance, personnel costs, and risk control.
• .Support and coordinate the handling of employee relations matters, feedback, grievances, terminations, and other HR operational issues.
Yêu cầu
✅ Must-have requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of solid hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Reward.
• Strong hands-on expertise in key functions including payroll, personal income tax, social insurance, job evaluation, salary structure design, and manpower budget analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, social insurance regulations, and personal income tax requirements.
• Strong capability in data analysis, data-driven HR management, planning, reporting, and work control with a high level of accuracy and effectiveness.
• Strong communication, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving skills in a professional working environment.
• Demonstrate a high level of accountability, attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and long-term commitment.
⭐ Nice-to-have Qualifications:
• Experience in a managerial or team lead role such as C&B Manager, Total Reward Lead, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience working in the education sector or non-profit organizations is an advantage.
• Working proficiency in English is an advantage.
