The DevOps bring specialized IT and operations knowledge and experience to the team in order to bridge the gap between IT operations and application development. His scripts, maintain their environments. His goal is not the IT support for the team but to make the team self-suffrole is to provide expertise and coaching for the team in all matters related to environments setup and maintenance, deployment, building and release process. He helps the team to write deployment icient and independent of the IT support
*Responsibilities
- Works closely with Tech Leads and developers of various teams to assess existing problems and to come up with process improvement solutions
- Identifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes
- Participates in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
- Executes on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization
- Surveys developers and technical members of the organization to understand their main pain points in the coding and development process
- Collaborates with the rest of DevOps team to deliver consistent and holistic solution to the organization
Yêu cầu
- 2+ years' experience as a DevOps consultant
- Understanding of DevOps and continuous delivery concepts, focusing on delivering rapid customer value
- Experience or a good understanding of containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, etc.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and agile team work
- Experience with one or more configuration tools (such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience in agile methodology
- Requires working knowledge of two or more programming languages
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing
- Team-oriented attitude
- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
