• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for assigned market segments and accounts across the hotel cluster.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to increase room, F&B, MICE and other revenue streams.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, MICE clients and other business partners.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections and business reviews.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and commercial agreements in line with approved strategies and hotel policies.
• Achieve individual and cluster sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives.
• Monitor account production, sales performance and market trends, providing recommendations to maximize business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Cluster Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing and Operations teams to optimize business conversion and revenue.
• Participate in sales missions, trade shows, networking events and other promotional activities.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account plans, activity reports and performance updates.
• Maintain an up-to-date customer database and ensure all sales activities and account information are properly recorded.
• Support the Cluster Director of Sales / Cluster Director of Commercial in developing market strategies and business plans.
• Coach and support junior sales team members where required.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with IHG brand standards, hotel policies and relevant procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Cluster Director of Sales / Cluster Director of Commercial.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with an international hotel group.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing corporate, MICE, leisure or wholesale accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the local and international hospitality market, with established client and business relationships preferred.
• Experience managing key accounts and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong
business development, negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Results-oriented, proactive and commercially driven.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple hotel properties.
• Good command of English and Vietnamese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant hotel sales systems.
