Mô tả công việc
• Design and Development: Design and develop CNC work holding fixtures, machining processes and programs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring precision, efficiency, and accuracy.
• CNC Programming: Write G/M-code and other programming languages for CNC machines, including milling and turning operations.
• 3D CAD experience with work holding fixture designs, casting drawings, 2D machining drawing creation.
• Process Development: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines.
• Analyze request for quote (RFQ) drawings, customer specifications, materials, additional processes such as heat treatment or plating, working with sourcing and finance to develop accurate product quotes.
• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, conducting inspections and audits, as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production operators to ensure seamless integration of CNC processes into production workflows.
• Training and Documentation: Provide training and documentation for operators and maintenance personnel on CNC machine operations and programming.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Additional duties may include coaching other engineers and staff, training and supervising other machinists, researching new equipment requirements, and fielding customer inquiries.
Yêu cầu
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in CNC machining, programming, and manufacturing processes.
• CNC Programming Skills: Proficiency in Fanuc programming languages.
• Mechanical Engineering Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and Microsoft Office.
• Language: English preferred. Must be able to read/write with conversational skills minimum.
Opportunity may be available to train in the USA for 2-6 months. Housing and allowances will be provided. Will require the ability to obtain a company-sponsored USA Training Visa.
