Position objectives
Make sure 4 core systems below run stably, smoothly and accurately 24/24
- Individual products: Ordinary Life System and Unit Link System
- Group products: Compass and Rpas System
Manage existing core systems to adapt new objective of company's strategy and product launching on time from 2023 onwards.
Lead and deeply understand business domain: Agency, Pd, Pos, Uni, Claim, Finance and Actuary
Role & responsibilities
Develop and implement system solution, in contribution to fulfill business objectives.
Provide technical analysis to provide the best technical solution as well as support colleagues for solving technical issues to complete the assigned projects / tasks on timely manner.
In charge of system design on enhancements or new
development under responsibility to ensure developed modules are matched with business requirements
Accompany TDA projects to review, design, enhance and transfer from existing processes to new platform to reduce manual work for users.
Ensure Core system to run day-end, month-end, quarter-end and year-end at technical side to ensure accurate and smooth.
Work with internal (PWC) and external (Group) auditor
Independently lead and steer meeting with stakeholders to clear detailed of new product's feature before final launching date for
product team.
Work closely with local and group team to improve performance of batch jobs to ensure core systems are always available at 8 am
Communication:
Internal (70%): Apply agile working in internal IT and other departments across AIAV (Discuss with BA, User,...)
External (30%): Discuss and solve problem with Group about new products, production issue, system flow; Work with external vendor.
Education: University Degree in software Development locally or overseas.
Experience 7 years and above on Core Life Insurance Business about Product, Agency Compensation, Claim, Pos, Finance, Actuary, Uni
At least 5 years' experience in application development with COBOL, SQL COBOL, CL and RPG programing language
At least 3 years working DB2 and SQL server database.
Good interpersonal skill and presentation skills through social platforms
Strong in Presentation, Coaching, team spirit and Delivery skills
Passionate, innovative thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skill
Collaborative Challenger collaborates with others and take action.
Fluent communication in both English and Vietnamese
Experience in core OLAS and ULS will be an advantage
