Job description
Responsible for directly carrying out all tasks related to maintenance, technical support, and operation of the company's IT systems. In complex cases or where deep expertise is required, will coordinate with service providers (Vendors) for resolution.
A. Hardware
Install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment such as: desktops, laptops, printers, photocopiers, network devices, cameras, time attendance machines, and meeting room systems.
Monitor equipment status and develop periodic maintenance plans.
Handle daily hardware-related technical issues.
Propose procurement or replacement of components/devices when necessary.
B. Software, Data & System Management
1. PC Management and Support (PCs):
Install or reinstall operating systems and application software.
Troubleshoot software issues; assess conditions and decide on OS reinstallation
Monitor regular antivirus updates.
Check and advise on software/hardware upgrades based on usage needs.
Handle hardware issues and support data backup before component replacement.
Coordinate with vendors for complex hardware repairs or specialized part replacements.
2. Server and Backup Device Management:
Configure shared folders, user accounts, and client connections.
Resolve server access issues and restore user permissions.
Monitor server hardware and ensure regular data backups or backups during incidents.
Maintain dedicated storage systems (NAS, backup devices).
Coordinate with vendors for server hardware replacement or major incidents.
3. Network Device Management (Firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi):
Monitor firewall status to ensure network security.
Maintain internal network, internet, and VPN connectivity.
Inspect and maintain switches and Wi-Fi access points.
Troubleshoot wireless and internet connectivity issues.
Coordinate with telecom providers (VNPT, Viettel) when issues are outside of internal systems.
4. IP PBX Telephone System:
Maintain the telephone system and handle PBX hardware issues.
Ensure stable landline connections.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment replacement or advanced configuration.
5. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS):
Monitor UPS status and handle hardware issues.
Ensure stable power supply for equipment during outages.
6. Printer Maintenance:
Inspect and troubleshoot printer hardware issues.
Calibrate printers and advise on optimal configurations.
Support installation of new printers.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Applied Informatics, System Administration, or related fields.
Strong general knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently, proactively, and effectively.
Knowledge and experience in general network architecture and operating systems such as Windows/Linux.
Knowledge of system administration: Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Web Server, Mail Server, etc.
Preferred certifications include MCSA, MCSE, LPI, etc.
