JOB SUMMARY
Construction Engineering Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing construction activities for the Jollibee Vietnam store system. The duties include planning and supervising the execution of new construction projects, and upgrades of store facilities. Additionally, ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations related to construction. The Construction Engineering Manager manages and optimizes human and financial resources, ensuring that projects are implemented efficiently and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategy development
- Execute strategic construction planning for the expansion of Jollibee brand. Ensuring the construction and operation of Jollibee stores is carried out in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Set up and manage store construction lists to ensure stores open according to the company's business plan.
2. Strategy execution and team management
Leads and manages the Construction Engineering team to ensure proper implementation, correct strategy, coordination to achieve goals, with the highest efficiency in Construction Engineering department activities.
Manage a series of activities of the Construction Engineering team to ensure output results meet targets associated with the Company's business results and strategies.

3. People management and compliance
- Ensure workforce planning and manpower fulfillment to support business growth and operational needs. Lead and manage team members in compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal regulations.
- Drive team performance through regular coaching, performance reviews, and development initiatives. Foster employee engagement and promote alignment with the Company's core values and culture.
- Participate in business planning, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets effectively to optimize operational efficiency and cost control.
- Ensure effective communication, adherence to the code of conduct, and implementation of disciplinary processes when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction, Construction Engineering, Architecture or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on Construction Engineering experience preferably within F&B, Retail, QSR industry. At least 3 years of working experience in the same role.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards in the construction industry.
- PMP or relevant construction certification.
Technical skills:
- Solid understanding of technical principles and construction processes.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, progress monitoring, and resource management.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders, including contractors, staff, and senior management.
- Ability to work under high pressure and solve problems flexibly and creatively. Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the QSR industry, especially when applied to construction.
