Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Summary
Continuous Improvement Expert is responsible for support the plant culture by participating in multiple cross-functional initiatives and maintain a consistent presence on the plant floor.
What you will do
As a Continuous Improvement Expert, you will:
• Partner with plant team to develop and execute the continuous improvement strategy in facility
• Direct activities to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory and cost utilization
• Train employees and deploys TPM tools if required.
• Develop and analyse statistical data and production/process performance to recommend and implement improvement in targeted areas
• Oversee and coordinate production methods and modifications for production efficiency and cost control
• Conduct studies to prepare and recommend new and revised operating procedure to maintain control, improve operation and facilitate processing. Compile and analyse significant data relative to the solutions of lean/manufacturing problem and/or cost reduction studies
• Drive culture of change and mentor other in the factory on implementing and sustaining continuous improvement practice
• Conduct production performance gaps analysis and work through with leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps
• Drive best practice sharing and internal external benchmarking
• Closely working with Process/ Production to drive for result is required
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
