A copywriter is a creative staff in the Brand Marketing team at Chợ Tốt, competent in creative thinking and copywriting. He/she is responsible for contributing big ideas, creative concepts, and copywriting executions for Chợ Tốt parent brand and vertical brands (Nhà Tốt, Việc Làm Tốt, Chợ Tốt Xe), to crack creative challenges.

As a Copywriter, the successful execution of this role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and exceptional writing skills

They mainly deliver the words and verbal content that accompanies the visual elements. A copywriter usually works closely with the in-house design team and has lots of input to the visual elements. A copywriter-based creative also serves as the copy lead for his/her respective projects in their respective teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for taking a brand brief and generating original copy ideas that grab the target audience's attention. This can include creating straplines, slogans, body copy, jingles, and scripts.
Lead brainstorming copies, and creative concepts with other members of the creative team and idea presentations when required and possible
Develop concepts and experience plans in a manner that is relevant to the brief, brand, and market needs while communicating the magic through a story.
Develop an effective and profitable creative product that delivers on relevant verticals and market needs.
Write and present various copy options, that satisfy the brand & communication objectives, and may be presented to verticals as a storyboard.
Oversee the production phase of his/her respective project and hold accountable for checking all content being advertised.
Work alongside the planning function, if called for, to help uncover deep behavior and emotional needs surrounding a creative challenge to help shape the translation of research into macro insights that ignite creative concept development and idea generation.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 years as a copywriter or creative content writer.
An interest in capturing and telling exceptional stories of people. Love various forms of writing.
Highly creative and imaginative. Has a sense of art and an eye for detail.
Has good written, and interpersonal skills.
Have an interest in social media, digital platforms, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
An off-beat perspective and the courage to look at challenges from unusual angles.
A sense of childlike optimism, with a bias towards making something real versus just talking about it.
A love for designing experiences that will matter and impact the lives of people.
A strong sense of responsibility and ownership in work. Be responsive and visible.
