KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyzing raw data and building reports to provide actionable insights into the operational efficiency of the SAS system.
• Transform raw data into a format that can be easily analyzed on business requirements.
• Manage & maintain SAS Data Mart and SAS 360 Infomap.
• Implement reporting for real-time monitoring.
• Work with higher levels to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Hadoop 'big data' technologies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• University Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or another quantitative field or relevant major
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• At least 2 years experience in a Data Engineer role
• Has analytic skills related to working with datasets.
• Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
