Job Description
Our client is a local company, now looking for a Cutting Manager (Garment, $1200, ID 21616)
Oversee and direct all operations within the Cutting Department, ensuring seamless handling of production schedules, pattern preparations, markers, and material readiness.
Formulate comprehensive cutting plans for each production batch and collaborate with related divisions (Planning, IE, QA, Sewing) to secure strictly on-time delivery.
Supervise the complete execution of spreading, cutting, fusing, and quality inspection stages to align with specified technical and quality criteria.
Manage fabric consumption ratios to eliminate waste, optimizing the utilization and productivity of equipment (such as manual cutting tools, band knives, automatic cutters, fusing presses, and spreading tables).
Lead, mentor, and perform performance appraisals for a workforce of approximately 30 employees, including operators, team leaders, and supervisors.
Enforce factory policies, occupational safety protocols, and 5S workplace standards consistently.
Deliver systematic updates and analytical reports regarding output, material usage, quality levels, and operational progress to the Factory Manager or Production Director.
Requirement
Age: Under 45 years old (Male / Female)
Educational background: College degree or higher in Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of equivalent managerial experience within export garment factories specializing in Woven products (blazers, jackets, skirts, dresses, etc.)
Practical hands-on experience in operating Bulmer automatic cutting machinery.
Good command of spoken and written English for professional daily communication.
Strong technical background and deep expertise in garment cutting operations
