Data Mart Specialist

OBJECTIVES
Data Mart Management Specialist will work to enhance and create Data Mart Applications under the guidance of Data Mart Senior Specialist. The Data Mart Specialist will also be working on the documentation, production support / troubleshooting, and the release of multiple new initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day activities
Operation
• Schedule ETL objects to ensure complete data availability, runtime and system performance
• Tracking ETL jobs status, find out root cause if error and fix it in time
• Handling issues related to data from local team and others departments
• Receive data requests from local team and others departments
New request
Work with different stakeholders across divisions to integrate data sources and map data between data warehouses and data marts
Collaborate with business analysts, modelers & reporting specialists to implement & maintain data transformation successfully, including DQ and standards
Define complex technical design/requirements for data marts projects
Collect, analyze, design, support the project implementation according to the defined plan and solution.
Collaborate with BUs to assess impact of changes on downstream with changing data mart design. Incorporate downstream needs in overall design
Perform necessary tuning of database and ETL systems and objects to ensure timing and performance goals are met.
Undertake other tasks assigned by Unit Head of Data Mart Management
