• Design, maintain, and optimize relational database systems (MySQL, Amazon Aurora, Oracle, etc.).
• Architect and manage dual-database solutions combining relational and time-series or NoSQL systems.
• Implement and monitor database replication across multiple AWS regions for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain nightly backup scripts, performance scripts, and automated maintenance routines.
• Run performance testing, query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure database efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to improve database-driven application performance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company and regional data protection standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies or AWS services to enhance system performance.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Database Architect.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Amazon Aurora, or Oracle.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) and time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Strong knowledge of Amazon AWS database and storage services (RDS, Aurora, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience with database replication, clustering, and multi-region failover.
• Proficiency in SQL query optimization, indexing strategies, and database tuning.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Certifications in relational or cloud database technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Database Specialty, Oracle DBA, MySQL Certified Professional) are a plus.
