Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Deputy General Manager (Garment, Open For Expats And Vietnamese, $10.000, ID15145):
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations & Production Oversight
Take full accountability for the overall production and operation of multiple group-owned garment factories both domestically and internationally.
Optimize production capacity, lead times, quality control, cost management, and operational efficiency while ensuring strict factory compliance.
2. Standardization & Lean Transformation
Establish and implement unified process technology standards and production management systems across the group.
Lead the execution of Industrial Engineering (IE) lean improvements, production line balancing, 6S on-site management, and the transition toward Smart Manufacturing.
3. Cross-Border Factory Coordination
Coordinate the management of overseas facilities to ensure standardized operations and performance.
Directly monitor implementation and resolve critical bottlenecks, including production capacity backlogs and workforce optimization.
4. Data-Driven Management
Develop and implement data-driven production control mechanisms to achieve standardized, transparent management of output, workflows, and personnel allocation.
5. Leadership & Performance Improvement
Mentor and manage Factory General Managers and Directors to drive cost reduction, enhance efficiency, and ensure timely delivery through a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirement
Male/Female. Age: 30-45 years old
Graduated from College or higher
Have 8 years in the garment industry, with 5 years working in equivalent positions at garment factories for Japanese brands or processing factories for large brands such as Adidas, Nike, etc.
Open to Vietnamese and foreign candidates who have worked in Vietnam for 5 years
Fluent in Chinese anh English
Extensive experience within the Japanese garment industry is mandatory.
Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale garment factories, specifically with experience managing Uniqlo woven/fabric factory operations.
Deep expertise in garment manufacturing processes, on-site management, and lean production methodology.
