Design Engineering Manager - Fire Protection

Description
* Oversee project requirements by managing documentation, plans, and design changes while monitoring job costs
* Conduct and supervise site surveys, field checks, and inspections as needed, ensuring proper documentation and process adherence;
* Lead and develop a design team through mentoring, training, and workload management, including recruitment and resource allocation;
* Coordinate with Sales and Project Managers to establish and maintain design schedules, ensuring commitment dates are met;
* Lead design meetings and participate in turnover meetings, driving standardisation and best practices across locations;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and status reporting;
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices to drive continuous improvement;
Profile
* Higher Degree in Engineering, preferably within fire protection design;
* 5+ year of proven experience in engineering/design, relevant certifications are strongly preferred;
* Minimum 3 year leadership experience, demonstrating strong team management capabilities;
* Solid knowledge of AutoCAD, HydraCAD, MS Office, building codes, relevant standards and requirements;
* Strong understanding of commercial/industrial building construction with ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications;
* Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English;
