Development Engineer / Senior Engineer (Mechanical, Electric, Materials)

I. JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Responsibilities:
• Incharge to evaluate the changing point of material, design.
• Respond to requests for drawing standards from departments.
• Cooperate with R&D of Daikin Thailand to ensure new models produced at Daikin Vietnam .
• Contact with Thai, Japanese design department to confirm design related issues.
B. Main Job Description:
1.Material development:
• Provide items to be evaluated for changes related to materials and design..
• Conduct tests to verify assessment items.
• Review, study the standards (JIS,ASTM,ISO) and the drawings to evaluate new component changes..
• Prepare document and hold the meeting with related department inhouse and supplier.
• Support to investigate the line defects.
2.Device/Electronic development:
• Develop new parts/material from the market to improve products specification and realize cost reduction for the electronic/PCB part
• Coordinate with other departments in the factory to analysis the market problem to find out the root cause and make countermeasures.
• Electronic parts selection and evaluation
• PCB testing and problem countermeasure (EMC, performance and reliability
3.Product development:
• Determine the specification of new products transferred from other market into Vietnam market.
• Create and modify drawing,3D according to design requirements.
• Create and mentain BOM
• Control the development process for new product transferred from other plants that are produced by DAV
• Coordinate with other departments in the factory so that the trial production for new products is not delayed.
