The Job
You are responsible for managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and services for our customer. You will be working closely with the development and project teams to ensure the smooth functioning of cloud-based applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure and services of the organization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, resolving any issues or incidents.
- Provision and configure cloud resources, ensuring smooth functioning of applications.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for streamlined operations.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud systems, conducting regular audits.
- Optimize performance of cloud-based applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate cloud operations.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular reports on system performance.
- Stay updated with cloud operations and DevOps best practices for continuous improvement
- You will also need to work on a different timezone if required
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. It is nice to have any related certifications.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure Pipeline
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles
- Willing to work or support customer on a different timezone
- Excellent English communication and collaboration abilities
