DevOps Engineer CI/CD, Python, Yocto

(1) As a member of LGEDV SWE Team, your scope of works is as below:

• Set up and configure build environment for Yocto project-built system, Android project-built system based on docker containers
• Provide/Maintain/Improvement build environment(build errors and runtime errors) for developers to build.
• Configure and maintain Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, CI servers, developer servers, etc...
• Maintain configuration management, CI/CD builds, reporting and monitoring tools with grafana and prometheus...
• Planning for future server building system development and report data about the system to the managers

(2) As a member of LGEDV VHA Team, your roles & responsibilities will be as follows:

• Work with the local engineering team, product managers, and program managers at VHA and remote locations (Korea) to build and ship embedded system applications.
• Design software module, implement, test & release according to agile process.
• Expected engineering output in the form of source code, engineering documentation, test results, release note.
• Design & set up an initial build environment for a new project and provide/maintain an environment for developers to build.
• Improvements to the Build System and developer development environment.
• Establish a configuration management policy (Code quality and Code Review System) in close collaboration with other department, and set up and operate various tools that can help improvements Code quality and SW stabilize.
• Provide work result with high quality and high performing (embedded system applications C/C++ based)
• Senior level engineers are required to perform code reviews of fellow or junior team members.
• Support leadership team (PM, PL and cross functional leaders) for the successful outcome of engineering projects.

(1) To qualify the position of LGEDV SWE Team, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Experience in Embedded Linux system
• Fluency in C, C++, Java, Python, Shell scripting, GNU Make.
• Has experience in building and operating CI/CD pipeline automation, log analysis and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, etc.)
• Knowledge in containerization technologies such as Docker, VM
• Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipeline automation, log analysis and monitoring For Embedded system(Yocto project-built system, Android project-built system, QNX project-built system)
• High responsibility and good team-work

(2) To qualify the position of LGEDV VHA Team, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Create and maintain configuration management repository (Git/gerrit/repo, etc.)
• Experience in Setup/Optimize build system for embedded projects (server configuration ...)
• Experience in Develop, maintain and optimize CI pipelines (Jenkins), build scripts (Python, Bash or other scripting languages)
• Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Korean language skills are plus points
• Experienced with Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) working methods is preferred
• Good at team working.
