Role Description The DevOps Engineer Intern will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with infrastructure as code (IaC) configurations, contributing to continuous integration workflows, and helping to automate deployment and monitoring processes. The intern will collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure environments for AI-driven applications.
Responsibilities also include troubleshooting Linux-based systems, documenting technical procedures, and following best practices for security, performance, and reliability. The role offers mentorship and hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and concepts, with the ability to define and manage infrastructure in code.
Basic experience or coursework in Software Development, including working with version control systems and collaborative coding workflows.
Understanding of Continuous Integration practices and familiarity with CI tools or pipelines to support automated builds and tests.
Entry-level System Administration skills, including managing services and configurations in server environments.
Practical experience using Linux, with comfort in the command line and troubleshooting common issues.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
