The Job
As a DevOps Engineer at Recurve, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our data platform. You'll champion a culture of automation, reliability, and security, ensuring that our development and deployment processes are streamlined, efficient, and adhere to industry best practices.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment of our Python backend, [protected info] frontend, and data engineering components.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including resource provisioning, scaling, and monitoring. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks and processes, such as server provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.
- Monitoring and Observability: Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, errors, and security issues. Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices for our infrastructure and SaaS platform. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth development, testing, and deployment processes.
Your Skills and Experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and some familiarity with [protected info].
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Git workflows.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
