These IELTS Coordinator roles - one in each city - are new posts designed to act as IELTS experts, and representing the British Council in a number of ways: placement testing and counselling students interested in IELTS, providing mock tests and tutorials for IELTS candidates and students on our preparation courses, and supporting Marketing teams with social media, events and workshops to bolster our reputation as an authority and leader in the IELTS and EAP market. These posts are also intended to support Academic Managers for Adult and Upper Secondary courses in the line management, development and training of teachers to better respond to the needs of our learners with respect to the IELTS exam and EAP in general. Positive collaboration with our colleagues in Exams would also be a part of the role.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for candidates who hold an undergraduate university degree, Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL and are Cambridge DELTA or Trinity Dip TESOL qualified. You should have full mastery of English across all four skills.
You should have a minimum of 4 years' full-time experience teaching both Adults and Upper Secondary levels, plus some delivering IELTS Preparation courses.
