A. Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager -
Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the Sales function. This role will focus on reporting, data analysis, and serve as the change champion for improvements and rollouts related to the Sales Hand-held Device (PDA) and Distributor Management System (DMS).
The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technological capabilities to optimize sales processes and performance visibility.
B. Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Dashboard Management
• System Development & Integration
- Develop and manage centralized Big Data systems covering all sales channels and multiple data sources.
- Combine and maintain master policies related to sales, distributor agreements, and operational frameworks.
- Partner closely with IT, Finance,
Trade Marketing and Sales for system development, report rollout, and data alignment.
• Develop and maintain regular sales, distribution, and operational performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Create visual dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to track KPIs and trends.
• Automate reporting processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with sales teams to gather reporting requirements and improve report effectiveness.
2. Data Analysis & Insights
• Analyze sales, inventory, and distributor data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for growth or efficiency.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business strategy and operational decisions.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis for targeted business initiatives or issue resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis on performance gaps or irregularities in the data.
3. PDA (Sales Hand-held Device) Champion
• Act as a functional lead for the rollout, enhancement, and troubleshooting of the Sales PDA system.
• Gather feedback from field users, validate business requirements, and collaborate with IT/development teams for solution deployment.
• Conduct training and workshops for the sales team to drive adoption and efficient use of the PDA.
• Monitor usage and data quality from PDA to ensure alignment with reporting expectations.
4. DMS (Distributor Management System) Champion
• Serve as a subject matter expert for DMS system updates, upgrades, and process standardization.
• Coordinate between business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to drive successful DMS implementations or enhancements.
• Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and change management activities for DMS rollouts.
• Ensure master data integrity and synchronization between DMS and central ERP/reporting platforms.
5. Other tasks
• Ad-hoc reports running as requested from line managers.
• Manage other operation tools (PTI, etc.)
• Build Power Automate tool.
