Review electrical design deliverables - single-line diagrams, load schedules, short-circuit and protection coordination studies, cable schedules and lighting calculations.
Supervise the installation of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC, distribution boards, busways, cable trays, lighting and small-power systems.
Witness Factory & Site Acceptance Tests for switchgear, transformers, UPS, ATS and DG sets; verify test reports against IEC 61439, 60076, 62040 and 60947.
Verify earthing, equipotential bonding and lightning protection in accordance with IEC 62305 and TCVN; sign off on continuity, insulation and earth-loop test records.
Coordinate interfaces with HVAC, Automation, ELC, Process Utilities and Civil packages, resolving design clashes and managing the cable-route master plan.
Monitor contractor progress and quality, issue daily reports, NCRs and punch-list items; drive timely closure and escalate risks to the PMC Project Manager.
Support energization, hot-commissioning and the C&Q lifecycle, including IQ/OQ for electrical systems serving GMP areas.
Champion electrical safety, LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out), arc-flash assessment (IEEE 1584), live-line work permits and energy efficiency throughout construction and energization.
Verify power-quality, harmonic profile (THDi/THDv), power-factor correction and load-balancing using on-site analyzers; coordinate with BMS for energy-KPI dashboards.
Interface daily with Civil (cable trench / earth grid), HVAC (motor starters / VFD), Automation (BMS / SCADA), ELC (life-safety integration) and Process Utility teams.
