Mô tả công việc
- Lead and oversee all engineering activities, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the production equipment, utility systems, and building and infrastructure. This role involves managing large-scale engineering projects, driving process innovation, and optimizing costs to maintain the company's business results.
- Oversee and manage all activities within the Engineering department, ensuring production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are well-maintained and in optimal condition.
- Strategically plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects, including feasibility studies, timeline management, budgeting, and quality control.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for the Engineering department; ensure a sufficient stock of spare parts to prevent downtime due to unavailability of replacements.
- Identify, implement, and supervise cost-saving initiatives and efficiency enhancement projects for the factory.
- Manage and control the department's expenses ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to meet project quality, timelines, and budgetary commitments.
- Lead the engineering aspect of New Product Development trials, from receiving formulations to scaling up for mass production.
- Conduct studies to improve manufacturing processes, optimize space utilization, and boost productivity while reducing costs. Implement and leverage innovative technologies such as automation, IoT, and energy-efficient systems to enhance operations.
- Inspire, motivate, and manage the engineering team through mentoring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high operational standards across all engineering processes.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Director.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering. Advanced qualifications (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an
Engineering Manager in FMCG industry at company level - responsibility (like Head of Department and not section)
- Experience in handling Capital Expenditure Projects, thereby bringing in new technology or carrying out the process of 'technology transfer' form the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to the client
- Experience in carrying out development trials for new products
- Experience in managing budgets, preparing budgets, analysis of the cost and cost management initiatives
- Experience in driving KPI and achieving results Functional Expertise
