Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
1. Read through or listens to material in English/Vietnamese language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a Vietnamese/English language, making sure to preserve the original meaning;
2. Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately;
3. Translates a variety of documents including legal, technical, educational, and commercial materials;
4. Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting English/Vietnamese spoken or written language to Vietnamese/English;
5. Facilitate communication for people with limited English/Vietnamese proficiency;
6. Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion;
7. Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language;
8. Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations;
9. Follow up with requesters to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
10. Filter out unnecessary translation requests and get translated documents reviewed by SMEs;
11. Communicate with Document Control and related departments/personnels to make sure translated documents are up to date;
12. Teach English for the company's Associates.

Required Experience
1. 01-03 years' proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role;
2. Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors;
3. Good knowledge of content editing tools;
4. Time-management skills;
5. Written and Verbal Communication
6. Accuracy, Attention to Detail
7. Ability to Meet Deadlines, Ability to Work Under Pressure.
Preferred Education
1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in the related field.
2. On-the-job experience can replace or supplement educational requirements.
