ERP BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST

I. Role Purpose
This role plays a key position in the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FnO) across the organization. The position acts as a functional coordinator with strong business process understanding and system knowledge, responsible for supporting end-to-end ERP implementation activities while also ensuring stable daily system operations. The role works closely with business users, ERP vendors, and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions, support issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement, with a strong focus on aligning with standard system capabilities and minimizing unnecessary customization.
The position is expected to be responsible for assigned functional areas and support successful ERP implementation and system operations.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. ERP Implementation & Rollout Coordination
• Coordinate ERP implementation activities across the full lifecycle: requirement gathering, functional analysis, solution design, configuration, UAT, go-live, and post go-live stabilization
• Support rollout for new entities and future system expansion
• Participate in gap analysis between business requirements and standard D365 capabilities
• Support data-related activities including data validation, migration preparation, and system readiness before go-live
• Ensure solutions align with business needs while following D365 best practices
2. Functional Analysis & Solution Support
• Collect and analyze business requirements from users and stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional solution options
• Support proposing appropriate approaches (standard functionality, configuration, or customization)
• Prepare clear functional inputs and recommendations for manager / vendor review
• Support documentation of functional requirements and solution design
3. Daily System Support & Issue Resolution
• Provide functional support for D365 FnO in daily operations
• Investigate and resolve system-related issues raised by users
• Analyze root causes across process, data, configuration, or system limitations
• Coordinate with ERP vendors and technical teams to resolve issues effectively
• Ensure timely follow-up and communication with stakeholders
4. User Training & System Adoption
• Conduct functional training sessions for key users and end users
• Support users in understanding end-to-end system processes
• Promote standardized ways of working across departments
• Support improving user adoption and system usage efficiency
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
• Act as a coordination bridge between business users, ERP vendors, and internal teams
• Translate business requirements into clear inputs for technical teams and vendors
• Communicate system changes, solutions, and impacts back to users in a clear and practical way
• Monitor vendor delivery progress and ensure alignment with business expectations
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple requests across departments
6. System Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor system usage, data quality, and operational performance
• Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies in system usage
• Proactively propose improvements in processes and system utilization
• Support preparation of regular reports on system issues, implementation progress, and user adoption
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and system usage
