ESC Engineer

1. Shop Drawing and Design:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop structural design details and convert design drawing into fabrication shop drawings
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage engineering revision control
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor (minimum 2 year of real project experience)
• Ability to optimize structural details for fabrication
• Cost & Time Estimation: Proficient in calculating theoretical production hours and material costs based on drawing complexity and manufacturing processes
• For Design Engineer:
- Skilled in structural simulation and FEM analysis to validate design integrity
- Perform manual and software-based calculations for structural integrity, load analysis, and mechanical connections
Experience:
• 3-5 years in steel structure, wind towers, or shipbuilding
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols and structural mechanics
• Highly preferred: Solid experience as a Detailer or Technical Estimator in the steel structure industry
2. Coating
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish specialized coating and anti-corrosion procedures for international projects; Review client coating specifications
Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of surface preparation standards (ISO 8501, SSPC/NACE) and industrial coating systems (Epoxy, Polyurethane, Zinc-rich)
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial coating, preferably in wind towers, shipbuilding, or heavy steel structures
• Proven ability to calculate paint consumption, manage surface treatment QC, and resolve coating defects in heavy industry
3. Welding:
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS/PQR) and supervise welding techniques for global project compliance
Technical Skills:
• Familiar with international codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, or ISO 15614
• Valid international welding inspector certificate (CSWIP 3.1/3.2, CWI, or equivalent) is highly preferred
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Welding Engineer or Inspector in heavy fabrication industries
• Capability to interpret complex welding drawings and manage welding quality
• Optional: International Welding Engineer certification (IWE/EWE) is an advantage but not mandatory
4. Internal Mounting:
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop installation drawings for wind tower internals (ladders, platforms, cabling, lighting)
• Review Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Develop integrated BOMs for major global projects
Technical Skills:
• Strong 3D spatial coordination skills to prevent clashes; Proficiency in CAD software
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical completion, internal outfitting, or assembly for heavy industry
• Proven record in managing complex BOM structures for international OEM clients
