Events and Activities Assistant (Part-Time)

Under general direction, responsible for assisting and coordinating events and activities including, but not limited to, preparing meeting/events materials and executing facility selection, transportation, and vendor liaison.
Perform other functions of technical marketing expertise for promotion and marketing campaigns.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting, coordinating, planning, scheduling, and organizing refreshments, furniture, space requirements, and volunteers for special events and activities organized and sponsored by the school or PTA.
PTA Events: Including but not limited to;
• PTA meetings & Coffee Mornings
• Family Day
• International Day
• Charity Bazaar
School Events: Including but not limited to;
• Back to School Nights
• Concerts
• Dances
• Plays
• Athletic Award Ceremonies
• New Teacher Orientation
• Farewells
• Year-end Party
• Sports days
• Graduation Ceremonies
• Science Fairs
• New student Orientation
• MRISA
• Art Shows
• Professional Development Days, etc.
School photo sessions: coordinate with ES, MS, and HS assistants to schedule and assist the school photographer when taking photos. Arrange school photo orders, from ordering to delivery.
Other: Maintain effective relationships with faculty and colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned.
