Experienced DRE/SRE DevOps, Database, AWS

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Database Reliability Engineer (DRE) / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our database systems, particularly within an AWS environment. You possess a solid technical foundation, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for problem-solving and optimization

Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance
• Contribute to the automation of database operations and infrastructure management
• Design and maintain reliable, scalable systems on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Document processes, procedures, and solutions clearly and effectively
• Actively seek opportunities to optimize system performance and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Middle-level engineer with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in real-world projects
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex database-related problems
• Solid understanding of database maintenance and performance optimization techniques, particularly with RDS
• Experience with common DevOps tools such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Customer-focused with empathy and a desire to understand their needs
