JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for optimizing and automating insurance operations across one or more functions within the Insurance Operations division.
Key Accountabilities
1. Consulting and Designing Insurance Operations Processes
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing data and real-world operational experiences to develop models and assessments of the effectiveness of insurance operations activities.
- Research and propose solutions to enhance operational productivity, improve customer service, and optimize the sales experience - both during and after the sales process.
- Participate in the implementation and take ownership of deploying improvement solutions into actual operations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvement solutions to identify opportunities for further enhancement.
2. Insurance Operation Digital Transformation
- Propose system solutions to support activities within the Insurance Operations division, including digitization, AI integration, and automation.
- Collect and analyze digitization requirements from relevant departments, assess the urgency of each request, propose high-level solutions, and develop implementation plans.
- Participate in system enhancement projects as a
business analyst and take responsibility for project acceptance to ensure timely delivery and implementation quality.
3. Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver advanced training programs for underwriting team members, focusing on complex case analysis, professional communication, and system utilization.
- Organize internal workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and periodic competency assessments.
- Serve as a mentor for high-potential underwriters, supporting career development and succession planning.
- Assist in building competency frameworks and performance evaluation standards for the underwriting function.
