External Engagement Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

The External Engagement Officer is an integral member of the External Engagement Department of VinUniversity. The post holder will be tasked with executing activities related to the administration and development of the Vingroup Science and Technology for Overseas Study for Master's and Doctoral Degrees ('the Vingroup Scholarship Program') as well as general external engagement responsibilities including corporate and academic engagement.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



Reports to: Director of External Engagement



1. Administer the Vingroup Scholarship Program by coordinating the following main activities:



- Promote the Vingroup Scholarship Program far and wide;

- Coordinate the scholarship cycle, including opening, application and selection process, notification of results, university application process, and ensuring Vingroup Scholars abide by all requirements.

- Work closely with the Vingroup Scholarship Manager to follow up and follow through all general matters related to Vingroup Scholars and general inquires via email or phone. Manage to proficiently use the Online Management System (OMS) to centrally manage scholarship affairs.

- Perform scholarship disbursement and other finance-related duties;

- Organize Vingroup Scholarship events such as Pre-departure Orientation, university visits, webinars, etc.



2. Support External Engagement activities



- Organize meetings and in charge of the reception of university guests to VinUni;

- Manage the budget of the External Engagement Department;

- Develop and keep track of contact database.



3. Other duties as assigned by management.
