Fashion Designer

- Creating tech packs and handling own styles from cad - sample stage whilst liaising with the relevant internal and external teams for the same- under the guidance of the direct manager
- Creating tech pack
- Handover to technical and merchandising team
- Liaising with printing/ embellishment, washing plants.
- Checking on sample whilst in process
- Reviewing final fit on dummy before being dispatched - with the Assistant Design Manager.
- Supporting the Senior Designer / Assistant Manager to ensure constant interaction and seasonal feeds are proposed to the customer on time.
- Staying updated on design trends & emerging technologies
- Liaising with & ordering fabrics / trims for the relevant season based on the seasonal proposals proactively - with the guidance of the direct manager.
- Building relationships with the suppliers (i.e. fabric trims embellishment print wash) in ensuring seasonal feeds.
- Ensuring Boardroom setups are Customer specific & the prep prior to the meeting is done - Including coordinating with factories and Merchandising teams to bring down the samples relevant for the visit - with the guidance of the direct manager.
- Excellent relationship is maintained with all internal and external parties.
- Fostering a positive & collaborative work environment within the Design team and with multiple stakeholders.
- Performing additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
- Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
