Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service & Solutions Engineer with expertise in Industrial Automation, IIoT, and AGV/AMR solutions to join our team. This role involves conducting site surveys, designing tailored solutions, providing technical support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, material handling, PLC/SCADA systems, industrial networking, and data integration.
Key Responsibilities:1. Site Survey & Solution Preparation:
Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate facility layouts, infrastructure, and operational requirements.
Gather data on material flow, process automation, and connectivity needs to propose optimal solutions.
Prepare technical proposals, solution architecture, and feasibility reports for automation, IIoT, and AGV/AMR deployments.
Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into solutions.
2. Field Service & Support:
Install, configure, and commission Automation, IIoT, and AGV/AMR systems at customer sites.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for deployed systems.
Provide preventive and corrective maintenance support to ensure system reliability.
Conduct system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations.
Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for each project.
3. Solution Engineering & Implementation:
Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement automation workflows, AGV/AMR fleet management, and IIoT data analytics.
Support proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and demo system setups.
Develop and implement PLC/SCADA programming, industrial networking solutions, and cloud-based IIoT applications.
4. Customer Training & Technical Consultation:
Conduct training sessions for customers on AGV/AMR operation, automation controls, and IIoT platforms.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Support customers in system integration, automation workflows, and data visualization.
5. Research & Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging Industry 4.0 trends, automation technologies, and IIoT advancements.
Recommend improvements to existing solutions and suggest innovative approaches.
Work closely with R&D and product teams to enhance solution offerings.

Key Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in field service, automation solutions, or AGV/AMR deployment.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.) and SCADA systems.
Hands-on experience with AGV/AMR configuration, fleet management, and path planning.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.).
Familiarity with IIoT platforms, cloud-based solutions, and data analytics tools.
Experience with robotics, machine vision, and AI-based automation is a plus.
Understanding of MES, ERP, and Smart Factory Integration.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel for on-site installations and support.
Preferred Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
PLC/SCADA Certification (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)
AGV/AMR Certification (e.g., MiR, Omron, Geek+)
IIoT/Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure, Cisco IoT)
