WE ARE LOOKING FOR an Accounting Clerk
Job Summary:
The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team.
The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for the general ledger operations and supporting the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in running the Finance department. This team ensures all financial operations within the hotel are in line with Hyatt Corporate standards while meeting guests and owner's expectations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Assist with reporting and preparation of account reconciliations
· Review, investigate, and analyze General Ledger variance
· Manage cash, cash equipment & applications
· Manage A/P functions
· Minimal / limited A/R duties
· Prepare journal entries and execute month-end closing check-list
· Assist with year-end audit process and reporting
· Review preliminary financial statements with Director of Finance
Yêu cầu
Qualifications
· Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred
· Prior Oracle, Birchstreet, Evention, EAS, and Opera experience preferred
· Must be an intermediate or advanced user of Microsoft Excel
· Must possess following strengths: high energy, motivated leader, effective communicator, excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills.
· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
