Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Manager to manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Accounting, taxation, audit support, and supply-chain finance activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Vietnam tax regulations, audit requirements, Oracle Accounting/EBS, and advanced Excel. The candidate should be able to work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, and other business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Operations
Manage day-to-day AP, AR and General Accounting activities.
Review accounting entries, reconciliations, provisions, accruals and month-end closing.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Perform GL, vendor, customer and bank reconciliations.
Support monthly, and year-end financial closing.
Taxation & Audit
Strong working knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and applicable tax regulations.
Coordinate and support tax audits, statutory audits and financial audits.
Ensure proper accounting and tax documentation and compliance.
Work with external auditors, tax consultants and relevant authorities when required.
Identify potential tax/accounting risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
Supply Chain Finance
Work closely with the Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics teams.
Monitor purchase transactions, inventory accounting, goods in transit, landed costs and related accounting entries.
Review supplier invoices, purchase transactions and payment documentation.
Support inventory reconciliation and identify discrepancies between physical stock and accounting records.
Oracle Accounting System
Hands-on experience with Oracle Accounting / Oracle EBS is required.
Manage and review accounting transactions within Oracle.
Ensure proper system processing, reconciliations and reporting.
Coordinate with IT/system teams for accounting-system issues and process improvements.
Experience in implementing or improving finance processes in Oracle will be an advantage.
Excel & Reporting
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, data analysis and reconciliation.
Required Qualifications & Experience

5-10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, FMCG, food or supply-chain environment.
Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL and month-end closing.
Good knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations and VAS.
Experience handling tax/statutory audits.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Accounting / Oracle EBS.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Good English communication and business-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience in import/export, trading or distribution businesses.
Knowledge of inventory, landed cost and goods-in-transit accounting.
Strong understanding of internal controls and finance processes.
Experience in process improvement and ERP implementation/support.
Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.
