Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Finishing Manager(Furniture, Open for Expats, $4000, ID20017):
Color Mastery & Finishing Standards
Quality Benchmark: Execute rigorous color inspections against approved "Golden Samples," master swatches, and customer specifications.
Precision Control: Validate shade accuracy, tonal consistency, and the execution of specialized effects (e.g., wash, brush, antique, distressed).
Uniformity: Guarantee seamless color matching between individual components and the final assembled product.
In-Line Production Oversight
Process Monitoring: Supervise every stage of the finishing line to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
Defect Mitigation: Proactively identify finishing defects (e.g., orange peel, sagging, uneven coats) and implement immediate corrective actions to minimize rework and waste.
R&D & Formula Development
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with paint/chemical suppliers and the internal R&D team to develop and refine color formulas.
Performance Testing: Ensure all finishing materials meet technical requirements for adhesion, UV resistance, and outdoor weathering
Requirement
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in color technology and finishing processes, specifically within the furniture industry.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of coating chemistries (PU, NC, UV, Water-based) and application techniques.
Communication: Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (written and verbal) to facilitate clear reporting and supplier negotiations.
Soft Skills: Exceptional teamwork and leadership abilities; a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to various production sites or supplier locations as required.
