Job Responsibilities:
1. New Product Introduction (NPI) Stage
• Delivered onsite factory support for both product runtime software and manufacturing test/validation software, partnering with Microsoft SW R&D teams to drive validation across multi-SoC platform architectures.
• Supported NPI greenlight bring-up by executing validation checklists and systematically reporting issues through formal bug tracking systems.
• Conducted root cause analysis and troubleshooting through analysis of firmware logs, OS crash dumps, and system event logs, collaborating with vendors to drive issue resolution and implement firmware/driver/toolchain code modifications.
• Complete relevant tasks in a timely manner according to project requirements.
• Join FA meeting discussing, analyzing and validation tasks.
• Onsite working on Haiphong factory in Vietnam.
2. Sustaining Stage
• Firmware maintenance.
• Support regular Debug firmware and Customer OS refresh, coordinating the deployment, making necessary source code change, and qualifying the released SW bits.
• Provide customized experimental firmware for FA purposes.
Yêu cầu
• Strong cross-functional collaborator with proven ability to quickly ramp on new platforms and technologies.
• 0-2 years of working experience, Excellent fresh graduate with good C/C++ coding ability can be acceptable.
• A BS/BE in Computer/Electronic/Information/Automation Engineering, or Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of System-on-Chip (SoC) concepts, embedded systems or RTOS running on MCU chip, or low-level software development (e.g., x86, ARM, platforms).
• Strong interest in hardware architecture, including schematic reading and analysis and familiar with various buses interfaces. For example, UART, USB, I2C, ADC and SPI [protected info]
• Proficiency in C/C++ is a fundamental requirement. Experience with C#, Rust, Python, or PowerShell is a plus.
• Accepted in analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform cross-platform and cross-environment debugging as challenge tasks
• Exposure or strong interest in manufacturing and production environments. prior experience in factory experience is plus,
• Good working proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills preferred, the ability to speak Chinese is a plus.
