Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
This role supports the footwear product creation process from a quality and production operations perspective. The position is focused on executing sample inspections, supporting technical trials, and helping maintain product creation timelines. The role works closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors, as well as internal teams, to ensure product readiness, quality consistency, and adherence to development milestones.

Key Result Areas:
Sample and Product Quality Support
- Assist in inspecting development and sales samples to ensure construction and quality meet brand standards.
- Support fitting sessions and pattern grading reviews with vendors and internal teams.
- Help document and track sample issues and resolutions.
Technical Development Support
- Assist in preparing for Tech 2 trials, including checking materials, patterns, molds, and tooling.
- Support wear testing and fit confirmation activities.
- Help review basic mold and bottom tooling for potential issues during pre-production trials.
Calendar and Coordination
- Monitor product creation milestones and flag delays or risks to the team.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure material readiness and sample delivery aligns with the product creation calendar.
Documentation and Systems
- Maintain accurate records in PLM systems and support updates to product specifications.
- Help organize testing reports, material approvals, and sample tracking logs.
Learning and Contribution
- Build foundational knowledge in shoe construction, material properties, and lab testing.
- Learn basic automation tools such as computer stitching and pattern grading software.
- Support initiatives related to cost awareness, process improvement, and quality consistency.
