Fresher QA Engineer Manual/ Automation

About the Role: We are seeking a Fresher QA Engineer with strong logical thinking skills and a solid understanding of software testing concepts, capable of defining and writing comprehensive test cases. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with 6-12 months of experience in software testing, who may have limited practical exposure but demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to develop their skills further.

Priority will be given to candidates with a programming background or foundational knowledge of automation testing, with the potential and ambition to transition into an Automation QA role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and define test scope and success criteria.
• Design and document detailed, high-coverage test cases.
• Validate and ensure the quality and accuracy of test data.
• Execute test cases, report defects, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance product quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Knowledge

• Solid knowledge of fundamental testing concepts, software testing processes, and Scrum-Agile methodology.
• Basic knowledge of algorithms.
• At least 6 months of experience in a similar position

Skill

• Capable of defining and writing comprehensive test cases & test scripts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, MySQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic English communication skills, especially reading and writing.

Attitude

• (For manual candidates) Willingness to learn and work on Automation Testing when necessary.
• Detail-oriented, process-compliant.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of programming in C/C++, Python.
• Foundational knowledge or experience in automation testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools and techniques such as Postman, Cypress, Selenium.
