About the Role
EQU is looking for a confident Fullstack
Developer with strong frontend expertise (approximately 70% Frontend / 30% Backend) to join our team. You'll be working on production-grade applications, collaborating closely with product teams, and contributing to a fast-paced, international engineering environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives as a doer - proactive, communicative, and able to break down ambiguous tasks into actionable work.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Bootstrap;
Contribute to backend development using [protected info] and Express (approximately 30% of workload);
Work with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Take ownership of vague or open-ended product tickets - independently break them down using AI tools and through communication with teammates;
Debug and resolve production issues with minimal supervision;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers based in India;
Maintain high-quality, pixel-perfect UI implementations;
Be flexible and available to maintain/fix production tickets as needed.

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Fullstack Developer (genuine experience required);
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Bootstrap;
Backend experience with [protected info] and Express;
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) - especially comfortable working with Indian developer teams;
Proven experience debugging production environments;
Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and modern web standards;
Active working spirit - proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have (Advantages):
Experience working with Stripe (payments integration);
Experience with React Native (mobile development);
Additional backend experience beyond [protected info]/Express;
High standards for pixel-perfect UI implementation;
Doer mindset - comfortable executing well-defined tasks without needing to lead.

Interview Process:
Candidates will go through a technical and behavioral interview process, including:
CV screening;
Technical interview (React, TypeScript, debugging scenarios);
Communication & active working spirit assessment;
