The Job
We are looking for a talented full-stack developer who can meet our technical bar, is willing to tackle challenging problems, and is an excellent fit for our open, driven, and collaborative team culture.
You will be responsible for building our web (frontend) + cloud (backend) based B2B software: a construction project design, optimization, and execution platform.
We are changing how large & complex construction projects are planned and executed. We want to build the smart brain that will plan & construct the most complex industrial & infrastructure projects in the world. Our software will find the best construction plan with the best use of manpower & equipment resources to do the job. We want to change how the biggest industry in the world, construction, does projects with awesome technology.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Build the web-based frontend UI that enables users (project planners) to design construction projects with tens of thousands of tasks and resource allocation. Examples of existing software with similar functionalities are (please Google the UI of the software below to get a feel of what we are trying to build) : Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera
- Build the cloud-based backend that stores users' project data, and handles security and license management.
- Integrate our in-house developed optimization algorithms into the project designer. (Currently, our MVP works by integrating with other project designing platforms, our goal is to build an all-in-one platform without external dependencies)
Your Skills and Experience
Required Skills / Abilities:
- 6+ years of experience working with Frontend programming languages / framework. Javascript / React etc.
- Experience with rendering large amount of html elements (since construction projects can have very large sizes)
- Experience with high performance dashboard design (data visualisation plots)
- 4+ years of experience building servers with Python, C++, Go building
- 4+ years of experience designing databases with MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
- Experience building data pipelines on Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
- Security and license management system design.
- Lean code practices.
- Experience with building large, enterprise projects is a plus.
- Expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills is a big plus.
- Fluent in English and good communication skills
- Interested in taking on more responsibility and ownership over time
