Mô tả công việc
1. Interpret design concepts from U.S. headquarters (mainly modular cabinets and outdoor furniture) and independently produce detailed manufacturing drawings. Deliverables include precise part dimensions, component layouts, hole and hardware placement diagrams, panel breakdowns, orthographic views, exploded diagrams, comprehensive assembly instructions, BOM lists, packaging label content, and layout designs. Update and revise drawings as needed to meet production and quality requirements.
2. Possess a solid understanding of the design, structure, materials, and functions of American and European-style furniture. Be knowledgeable about standard manufacturing tools, production techniques, timelines, and workflows. Understand export standards and product requirements for the U.S. and European markets.
3. Work closely with PD department, Quality Control deparment, and manufacturing teams to enhance and refine existing products. Contribute to material selection, cost optimization, and ensure compliance with safety and transport standards.
4. Implement standard practices in structural design and material usage to ensure design consistency. Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and production innovations.
5. Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Yêu cầu
1. College degree or higher in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. At least two years of hands-on experience in furniture design, with a strong grasp of furniture construction and manufacturing processes. Preference given to candidates with U.S. market design experience.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD (required), and skilled in using SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design and office software.
4. Strong analytical thinking and design abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills; responsible, proactive, and eager to learn.
5. Chinese is a plus.
