Game Designer Roblox-style Simulator/ Tycoon, English

About the Role

We are seeking a Game Designer to join our studio in Da Nang. In this role, you will be responsible for creating Game Design Documents for our next Roblox games.

You will collaborate with our partner studios to help them during the development process and ensure that the games produced are in accordance with the GDD.

You will create fun & addictive Roblox games, from the simulator/tycoon type

Key Responsibilities

• Design Roblox games: Create GDDs from an initial game idea in accordance with the standards of Roblox and the behavior of Roblox players.
• Quality Assurance: Test and validate game features throughout the entire development process to ensure smooth, addictive, and rewarding gameplay experiences.
• Pre-Production Collaboration: Partner with game economy designers to ensure that the game's economy is taken into account in the Game Design Documents (GDDs).
• Mentorship: Educate and mentor partner studios on game design best practices to improve overall design quality.
• Live Ops Optimization: Analyze funnels, KPIs, and player data from launched games to improve our games over time during the Live Ops.

• Proven experience as a Game Designer or similar role, ideally on Roblox-style Simulator or Tycoon games.
• Strong knowledge of free-to-play design.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret player data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Proactive and passionate about analyzing competitor games and industry trends.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken); additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
• Passion for games, user-generated content (UGC) platforms, and player-centered design
