Geophysicist

Job purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Geophysicist to join our Subsurface team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating and characterizing reservoirs, integrating petrophysical data with geological and engineering inputs to support exploration, appraisal, and development activities.
Key responsibilities:
• Prepare logging, core, fluid samples, studies develop score of work ITB, manage tender process and then perform the technical evaluation.
• Assist senior petrophysicist/geophysicist in designing, supervising cased-hole and opened hole logging operations.
• Manage and perform quick-look interpreting off wireline and/or LWD data to ensure accurate formation evaluation.
• Interpret the open hole well-log, FMI, Mud-log for both clastic and basement reservoirs to evaluate key petrophysical parameters (Vcl, porosity, water saturation, permeability, net reservoir, and net pay thickness) and subsequently rank the productive zones.
• Conduct and evaluate cased-hole log (CBL/ PLT/ cased-hole saturation) interpretation.
• Evaluate geological and petrophysical data to identify perforation intervals for production and water shut off intervals.
• Collaborate closely with well intervention engineers, reservoir engineers, geologists and geophysicists to integrate petrophysical insights into reservoir models.
• Quantify and characterize reservoir properties, including uncertainties and sensitivities.
• Perform and maintain the database update.
• Provide petrophysical input to drilling operations, well intervention, and production optimization activities.
• Contribute technically to subsurface studies within geological and petrophysical disciplines.
• Prepare and support the development of technical documents, including geological and formation evaluation proposals, final well reports, perforation and water shut-off proposals, RARs, RFDPs, and related reports.
• Conduct reservoir risk assessments and contribute to reservoir management strategies.
• Develop the score of work for well intervention programs, including perforation intervals, water shut-off candidates, and stimulation candidates both short and long-term.
• Manage technical and contractual aspects during execution of relevant studies and service contracts.
• Take part and assist in peer reviews to ensure excellent technical standards.
• Represent the organization in external technical meetings, workshops, and collaborative studies.
• Take the ownership of for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge.
• Perform others duties that requested by SSF Managers.
