Translation Review: Review marketing content translated from English into German - lead magnets (ebooks, guides, checklists), landing pages, blog posts, social media posts, in-app messages, and email campaigns.
Flag What's Right and What's Wrong: Mark the parts that read correctly and the parts that don't - mistranslations, awkward or machine-sounding phrasing, wrong tone, grammar and spelling slips - and fix the corrected wording.
Native Check: Make sure the final German copy sounds natural to German-speaking readers and that headlines and CTAs keep the persuasive intent of the English original.
Consistency: Keep terminology consistent across assets, and help maintain an exact, simple German glossary of affiliate/influencer marketing terms.
Format Check: Watch for practical issues - character limits on in-app strings and buttons, and SEO elements (titles, headings, meta descriptions) on landing pages.
Yêu cầu
German proficiency at C1 or above (Goethe-Zertifikat C1, telc C1, DSH-2, or equivalent)
Strong English reading comprehension - all source content is in English (IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent).
Experience translating or localizing marketing content preferred; SaaS/e-commerce background is a plus.
A feel for marketing copy: able to keep headlines punchy and CTAs persuasive instead of translating word-for-word.
Comfortable using AI translation tools (DeepL, ChatGPT, etc.) as a starting point while ensuring human-quality final output.
Detail-oriented, able to work independently and deliver clean output on deadline without heavy back-and-forth.
