Position Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will be involved in the complete data lifecycle, from collecting data from external sources to transforming and preparing valuable datasets for business users.
You will work primarily on cloud-based platforms and leverage modern technologies, including AI and web technologies, to build scalable and reliable data solutions. Your role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure data quality, efficiency, and business value.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and automated data pipelines.
Build and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions from multiple data sources into a centralized data platform.
Develop and maintain data layers following modern data architecture standards and best practices.
Optimize complex SQL and Spark workloads, improve workflows, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems for both batch and real-time processing.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
Implement and maintain data governance, security, access control, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 1 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
Proficiency with Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big data processing technologies such as Apache Spark or similar frameworks.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
Understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, and modern data architectures.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Apache Superset.
